Field archery in the UK is a very varied and successful sport. Every form of the sport is practised from shooting 'spots' at both marked and unmarked distances, to unmarked and marked 3D/ animal faces to roving. The recognized governing body for British field archery is the Grand National Archery Society (GNAS), but there are are also two other national organizations, the English, Welsh and Scottish Field Archery Associations (EFAA, WFAA, SFAA) and the National Field Archery Society (NFAS).
It should be noted that bowhunting in the UK is strictly illegal and is not supported by any field archery organization.
